If you’re looking for one of the most popular shows on Netflix, look no further than You. The Netflix series actually started as a Lifetime series. Lifetime canceled the show after one season, and Netflix picked up for a second season.

The series is based on the book series of the same name by Caroline Kepnes.

You follows Joe Goldberg, played by Penn Badgley, the manager of a New York City bookstore, who becomes obsessed with Beck, played by Elizabeth Lail. Things start out well, but things get really, really weird.

The series quickly became a Netflix sensation, and the streaming network renewed the series for season 2. It premiered on Netflix at the end of 2019, and it takes the main character, Joe, to a new locale and surrounded by new friends and foes.

You season 3 is happening at Netflix, but unfortunately, we’re going to have to wait until 2021 until we see the new season of the series on Netflix.

The third book of Caroline Kepnes’s book series is scheduled to arrive in April 2021, so hopefully, we get to see the new season around that time.
