Netflix shows like The Office: The Good Place

The Good Place is one of the best comedies on TV since The Office went off the air in 2013. The series has an incredible cast with Kristen Bell, Manny Jacinto, Jameela Jamil, Ted Danson, William Jackson Parker and D’Arcy Carden.

The series was created by Michael Schur, who created Parks and Rec, was a writer and producer on The Office, and also played Mose Schrute in The Office. 

In the series, Eleanor Shellstrop (Bell) dies and wakes up in The Good Place, a magical place that you go to after you die if you’ve accumulated enough points. You get more points for doing good things on Earth. You get deducted points for doing bad things. Eleanor is in The Good Place by mistake, and she tries to keep her real identity hidden so she doesn’t have to go to The Bad Place.

The Good Place ended its four-season run on NBC in 2020. There are three seasons currently on Netflix, and the fourth season is coming soon. The Good Place season 4 is scheduled to be released on Netflix on Sept. 26, 2020.
