8 Netflix shows to watch if you like The Office

The Office is one of the most popular shows on Netflix right now, but unfortunately, the show is leaving Netflix and moving to Peacock later this year. To help you find more good Netflix shows to watch like The Office, we shared a list of eight Netflix shows that you need to watch!

Many of the Netflix shows are probably familiar to many fans of the series and Netflix viewers for the most part. With that said, I guarantee there are a few TV shows on this list that you haven’t seen!

Let’s get the list started with a fan favorite!

Netflix shows like The Office: Parks and Recreation

Parks and Recreation is the most obvious pick on this list. The series was originally created to be a spinoff of The Office from Greg Daniels, the creator of The Office, and Michael Schur, writer and producer of The Office. That didn’t happen, but the show did become its own “thing,” much like The Office did.

Like The Office, the show is filmed documentary style, but it’s much more jovial and less depressing. Parks and Rec tells the story of the employees of the Pawnee Parks Department and their friends and family.

Parks and Rec has an incredible cast. So many of the show’s stars have gone on to do bigger shows and movies. Amy Poehler stars in the series alongside Nick Offerman, Rashida Jones, Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza, Aziz Ansari, Rob Lowe, Adam Scott, Retta, Jim O’Heir, Billy Eichner, and Paul Schneider.

The series premiered on NBC in 2009 and ran for seven seasons through 2015. The cast of the show just came back together for a special reunion episode that aired on NBC during the pandemic in April.

Parks and Rec is one of my all-time favorite shows. If you like The Office, you need to check it out on Netflix right now!
