Ozark is one of the darkest Netflix shows we’ve seen to date. The series isn’t afraid to kill off a major character in the most shocking way possible.

If there’s a teen version that embodies that “no character is safe” mentality, it’s Riverdale, which is based on characters from the Archie Comics you know and love.

The series has all the typical Americana high school stories of young love, football, cheerleading, and more, but the series also features a revolving door of murderers, serial killers, drug dealers and more.

There are four seasons of Riverdale on Netflix right now. Riverdale season 5 is scheduled to premiere on The CW in January 2021 and will be added to Netflix later next year.

How to Get Away with Murder is not that similar to Ozark, but it’s all about people committing crimes and keeping secrets. If that doesn’t appeal to Ozark fans, well, you’re probably not that much of a fan of Ozark! 

The series stars Viola Davis as Annalise Keating, a law professor in Philadelphia. Annalise and a few of her students get wrapped up in a murder plot. That’s just where this series begins.

Billy Brown, Alfred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Katie Findlay, Aja Naomi King, and more star in the series from Shonda Rhimes.
