Whether you’re looking for a high-speed chase, a group of hardened criminals planning an impossible heist, or a cop searching for the answers to a gruesome crime, Netflix has a little something for everyone.

1. The Irishman

Starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci, The Irishman follows an aging truck driver as he recounts the time he spent as a hitman for the mafia. The film was nominated for numerous awards and its all-star cast makes The Irishman a must-see.

2. Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile

Zac Efron is almost unrecognizable as serial killer Ted Bundy in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. Based on true events, the film explores Bundy’s crimes, arrest, and trial through the eyes of his girlfriend, played by Lily Collins.

3. Zodiac

Based on the non-fiction book of the same name by Robert Graysmith, Zodiac explores the manhunt for the Zodiac Killer. The perpetrator of the United States’ most infamous unsolved crimes, the Zodiac Killer sent a series of coded letters and taunting cards sent to the local Bay Area press.

Zodiac stars Robert Downey Jr., Jake Gyllenhaal, and Mark Ruffalo.

4. Lost Girls

Based on true events, Lost Girls revolves around the murders of young female sex workers on the South Shore barrier islands of Long Island, committed by the Long Island serial killer. To this day, the killer remains unidentified.

Lost Girls stars Amy Ryan as real-life activist Mari Gilbert.

5. The Ruthless

This 2019 Italian-French film tells the story of a rebellious teenager who grows up to become one of Milan’s most ambitious criminals. The Ruthless stars Riccardo Scamarcio, Sara Serraiocco, and Alessio Praticò.

6. On My Skin

On My Skin is based on the real story of the last days of Stefano Cucchi, a 31-year-old building surveyor who died in 2009 during preventive custody. Cucchi was a victim of police brutality and his harrowing final days will linger on your mind long after the credits roll.

7. The Interview

The Interview stars Hugo Weaving, Tony Martin, and Aaron Jeffery. Almost the entire film takes place in a police interrogation room, where three men play a cat-and-mouse game for the upper hand.

8. Patriots Day

Based on the book Boston Strong by Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge, Patriots Day follows law enforcement officers as they race to catch the culprits responsible for the Boston Marathon bombings.

9. Grandmaster

Grandmaster is the first-ever Malayalam film to be released on Netflix. The film follows a police chief as he hunts for a serial killer. When he receives an anonymous note, the man realizes that his daughter and estranged wife are the killer’s next targets.

10. Den of Thieves

Den of Thieves follows an elite force of County Sheriff Deputies trying to stop a group of thieves from robbing the Federal Reserve in Los Angeles. It stars Gerard Butler, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Pablo Schreiber, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Evan Jones, Dawn Olivieri, Mo McRae, and Max Holloway.
