Video games that’d make good Netflix shows: 9. Uncharted

This is hands down this writer’s favorite video game series and lead character. Nathan Drake’s story needs to be told in full. Most of Nate’s time with his friend and father figure Victor “Sully” Sullivan is still unknown. We know they’ve gone on countless adventures together. On one occasion, Nathan was arrested at a very young age. But what else have they done? Filling in the gaps would be exciting.

There’s a ton of other interesting characters like Chloe Frazer, Nadine Ross, and Drake’s brother Sam. Not to mention the relationship between Nate and his wife Elena. They’ve been on a bunch of adventures together and have had their ups and downs. A show focusing on just them is worth watching. Since we’re probably never going to get the live-action movie, at least we could get a TV series.

Video games that’d make good Netflix shows: 8. Destroy all Humans!

In 2005, a silly but fun video game was released. We follow the alien Crypto who’s on a mission to retrieve one of his stolen alien clones. While on your mission, you have to steal human brains to get upgrades to your weapons and more. One way to extract the brain is to use the anal-probe gun. Yes, this game is that silly.

Destroy All Humans! is entertaining for all the right reasons. Crypto has no idea what human life is like, the game is set in the 1950s, and they poke fun of the time being ridiculous, and people keep calling Crypto green and he’s clearly grey (which he points out). There are also a ton of jokes and comments made that would make this a silly cartoon. With the Destroy all Humans! remake recently released on PlayStation 4, it could be a good time to announce a show while it’s fresh on people’s brains.
