Ozark season 4: Is (SPOILER) actually still alive?

The fate of one character in Ozark season 4 has been confirmed

Since Ozark season 3 dropped on Netflix in March 2020, fans have been speculating about the death of a major character in the season. Months later, it seems that character’s fate has been confirmed.

The character in question is obviously, Ben, Wendy’s brother, played by Tom Pelphrey, who was sensational in the series. Ben was killed after becoming a liability to the Byrdes’ business ventures with the cartel. Wendy gave the okay for Ben to be killed and was understandably horrified that she could make such a ruthless decision.

Since then, fans were wondering if Ben was actually still alive. Unlike with Helen and the dozens of murders in this show, we don’t see Ben killed, and we don’t see his body. And, Ozark fans are too smart to know that if there’s no body, then there might not be a murder.

Well, those theories can be put to rest now. According to TV Line, showrunner Chris Mundy confirmed that Ben is not still alive. The character is dead, and he will not be making a return, unless it’s in a flashback, in season 4.

Ozark was renewed for season 4 recently. The series, sadly, will be the final season of the Netflix series and it will be split into two parts.

We still don’t know when to expect the final season of Ozark on Netflix, though. Production is still shut down in the United States, for the most part, and Georgia, where Ozark season 4 will be filmed, has a lot of COVID-19 cases. It doesn’t sound like production will start there anytime soon.
