I Am Not Okay With This is coming back for season 2 at Netflix

According to a new report, I Am Not Okay With This has been renewed for season 2 at Netflix.

What’s on Netflix is reporting the hit Netflix teen series will be returning for another season. The outlet also reported several Netflix shows had been renewed prior to Netflix making the announcements about those shows, including Ozark.

Netflix has not officially announced the return of I Am Not Okay With This yet.

We’ve been anxiously awaiting any news about the Netflix original series after its premiere in February. The first season of the series was a really quick binge-watch, and then we didn’t hear anything about the second season for months. So, I’m really, really hoping this news is real!

The series is on the list of the 21 best Netflix shows of 2020 so far.

I Am Not Okay With This stars Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff, and Sofia Bryant. In the series, Lillis plays Sydney, a teenager dealing with the recent death of her father, her sexuality, friendships and lack thereof, and more. She also has superpowers that she’s trying to learn how to control with the help of her friend, Stan, played by Wyatt Oleff.

The first season ends in an incredible way. I’ve always wanted a TV show that just goes for it, and that’s exactly what I Am Not Okay With This does. There’s so much more story to explore in the new season, and I think everyone who watched this show is waiting for that.

I Am Not Okay With This release date on Netflix: Update

Assuming the report is true and I Am Not Okay With This season 2 is on the way, we’ll probably have to wait quite a while until we get to see the new season. Although the episodes are short, production still takes a long time, especially with a show like this that will likely use practical effects and CGI in the future.

At the time of publishing, we’re expecting to see I Am Not Okay With This season 2 in the late summer or fall of 2021. And, that’s assuming there are no major production delays because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has shut down TV and film production in the United States.

For now, expect to see I Am Not Okay With This season 2 in the late summer or fall of next year.
