Netflix shows to watch: 7. Jane the Virgin

Jane the Virgin is one of the best soapy, comedy-dramas on Netflix. I don’t know anyone who has started watching this show and not enjoyed it. It’s just a good series, overall, with so much heart and so many twists and turns.

The series stars Gina Rodriguez as Jane, a young woman who is accidentally artificially inseminated during a routine checkup. From there, we follow Jane as she tries to figure out what to make of her life. She begins to have feelings for Rafael (Justin Baldoni), the baby’s father, but it’s so complicated.

Rodriguez and Baldoni are joined by Andrea Navedo, Yael Grobglas, Ivonne Coll, Brett Dier, and Jaime Camil in the series.

Jennie Snyder Urman created the series, which ran for five seasons on The CW. All five seasons are available to stream on Netflix.

The series stars Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin, Martin Cummins, Jack Wagner, Pascale Hutton, and Kavan Smith. It tells the story of Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow), a teacher who moves to a remote Canadian town. We follow her life and the lives of others in the town.

When Calls The Heart season 6 should be added to Netflix in the near future. We don’t know for sure when the new season will be released, but it shouldn’t be too much longer.
