9. Never Ending Story

The song heard around the world after season 3 was released.

Ever since Dustin returned home from summer camp and told his friends about his girlfriend Suzy, the doubt of her existence crept into the minds of pretty much all of his friends’ minds.

Throughout the season Dustin made references about his new girlfriend, calling her hotter than Phoebe Cates. And, the doubt really started to sink in when Dustin tried to connect with her via radio tower that he had made himself but there was no sign of Suzy.

When Dustin couldn’t remember Planck’s constant in the final episode, he radioed Suzy and she finally answered!

But before she would give up the code, she wanted something in return from Dustin.

Suzy and Dustin both started singing The Never Ending Story theme that now sticks in the hearts of every Stranger Things fan!

8. Eleven tells Mike that she loves him

This was a pretty big moment for Eleven.

Season 3 was filled with romance, aside from the Mind Flayer trying to take over Hawkins of course. It seemed everybody had their fling except for Will. Whether it was Max and Lucas, Nancy and Jonathan or Joyce and Hopper, the two heartbeats of the show are Mike and Eleven.

Since they first met back in season 1, there was a connection there that was like any other on the show.

With everything that Eleven had been through at Hawkins Lab, it makes sense why she was so hesitant in season 1 to let people in and allow people to become close to her. She never really held back from Mike, though. Mike was always there to comfort her and make her feel safe.

Yes, there was a time in season one after Will’s body was discovered that he snapped on her and said things he obviously didn’t mean but things happen and that clearly didn’t affect their relationship.

Ever since they reconnected at the end of season 2, they have been inseparable and their love is in full force in season 3. Well, at least towards the beginning and end.

Mike expresses to everybody that he loves Eleven and he can’t lose her again. Eleven then appears from the room, asking what was going on, and Mike plays it off, but we find out that Eleven knew exactly what Mike had said.

In the last few moments of season 3, Eleven walked up to Mike, told him that she loved him, too, and kissed him right before they said their goodbyes.

This is a moment we won’t forget and neither will Mike!
