More than 50 new movies and TV shows are coming to Netflix this week

Somehow, it’s June already! Where did May go? A ton of new movies and shows came to Netflix in May and helped us deal with the boredom of staying inside, but don’t worry! June is just as jam-packed with new content, especially this week. Whether you’re look for a classic 90s rom-com, an Oscar-nominated film, or a few shows to binge-watch, the streaming service has something you’ll enjoy..

What better way to start off June than with Clueless! The film turned 25 this year (yes, we are all old) and is now coming to Netflix on Monday, June 1. The movie loosely based on Jane Austen’s Emma stars Alicia Silverstone, Brittany Murphy, Donald Faison, Eliza Donovan, Jeremy Sisto, Breckin Meyer, Stacey Dash, and Paul Rudd.

If you haven’t seen it (what have you been doing?), the movie follows Cher (Silverstone), a rich, popular girl, as she tries to make a difference in the world by making over the new girl in school. Things don’t go as she planned.

If you’re looking for something a little more modern, you should definitely check out Lady Bird on Wednesday, June 3. The Greta Gerwig-directed film follows Lady Bird McPherson (played by Saoirse Ronan) as she goes through her senior year of high school while dealing with being poor and her less-than-perfect relationship with her mother (played by Laurie Metcalf.

Or maybe you’re looking for a TV show to binge? If so, you’re in luck because there are two binge-worthy shows coming to Netflix this week.

The first is all three seasons of Hannibal, which hits the streaming service on Friday, June 5. The fan-favorite show follows Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), a FBI profiler, who is haunted by the serial killers he hunts down. He also must deal with his relationship with a psychiatrist who often helps the FBI,  Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen)

If you haven’t seen this show, please check it out! It’s beautifully shot and Hugh Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen are extraordinary in it. Although, if you’re squeamish, this might not be for you.

Season 15 of Supernatural is also coming to Netflix on Friday, June 5. While this isn’t the entire season, it’s most of it. The rest of the series will air in the fall and the final episodes have not been filmed yet due to coronavirus shutting down production. If you want to do a huge rewatch of the paranormal series, this is a great time to do so. If nothing else, it will prepare you for when the final episodes come out.

There is also a ton of Netflix Original content coming out this week. You can check out the final season of Fuller House on Tuesday, June 2 as well as the final season of 13 Reasons Why and season 5 of Queer Eye on Friday, June 5
