Netflix is adding more than 90 new movies and shows in May 2020

Hollywood season 1, Riverdale season 4, Grey’s Anatomy season 16, Uncut Gems, The Lovebirds, and more good shows and movies are coming to Netflix in May 2020.

Netflix just announced more than 90 new movies and shows will be coming to the streaming service in May 2020! The streaming network shared the full list of new releases for next month, and there more than a few that you should be watching.

May is looking to be a nice evenly balanced month with both a handful of high-profile Netflix Originals and new seasons of many fan-favorite series. Among the month’s highest-profile Netflix Original releases is the first season of Ryan Murphy’s newest original series Hollywood, which will drop on May 1 along with fellow Netflix Original Medici: The Magnificent: Part 2. 

Other notable Netflix Originals coming throughout the month include season 2 of the Christina Applegate led Dead to Me, the interactive Kimmy Schmidt special, a third season of Magic for Humans and the premiere season of the Steve Carell and Lisa Kudrow led office comedy Space Force.

Not only will the month bring with it new seasons of many Netflix Originals, but fans can also look forward to being able to catch up on the most recent seasons of several beloved favorites. Among the notable series arriving in May are Grey’s Anatomy season 16 (May 9), Riverdale season 4 (May 14), The Flash season 6 as well as the fifth season of Supergirl (release date TBA).

May will also feature the arrival of some great comedy specials beginning with the release of Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours to Kill on May 5. Other highlights for the month include Patton Oswalt: I Love O

When it comes to Netflix’s May movie releases, fans can look forward to enjoying the Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjianiled comedy The Lovebirds when it arrives on May 22. The film is sure to draw a lot of attention as it becomes the first movie pulled from theaters due to debut exclusively on Netflix. Movie lovers can also enjoy Adam Sandler’s acclaimed film Uncut Gems just days later when it arrives on May 25.

There are also a lot of great classic movies coming to Netflix in May 2020, too, including Back to the Future, Back to the Future Part II, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Patriot, Public Enemies, and The Lincoln Lawyer.
