Valentine’s Day 2020: 10 best TV couples on Netflix
6. El and Mike — Stranger Things
When it comes to unconventional relationships, look no further than Stranger Things‘ Mike and El. The two have very little in common to start with, but they manage to make it work. The best thing is, they start off with the pre-teen puppy dog love. As they learn more about their bodies and who they are, their love transforms.
Sadly, we haven’t had a chance to see much of this relationship. In just the second episode of Stranger Things 3, the two split up. While they spent episodes together, they weren’t romantically linked. But that hasn’t stopped us from wanting to see them back together.
We don’t always need big dramatic moments. There isn’t always the need for relationships with fiery arguments and lots of passion. Okay, so they can make some of the more adult relationships the type that we adore, but when it comes to kids, we want cuteness. We want to remember what it was like to be their age.
El and Mike are just so adorably cute together. They have each other’s back and will risk their lives for one another. They have risked their lives for one another.
The good news is that they do get back together at the end of the season, but it’s not all rainbows and sunshines. Will we see them still together in season 4?
