4. Scary Movie

This movie is a hilarious parody of two horror movies; Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. It opens with a girl named Drew (Carmen Electra) answering a phone call and getting into a flirtatious conversation with the unknown caller just like in the opening scene of Scream.

It begins to poke fun at the horror movie with silly scenes like when the caller tells Drew he can see her through the window. Then, the doorbell rings spooking Drew, and she attacks some kids trick or treating on Halloween. Ghostface breaks into the house and taunts Drew about being somewhere in the house but hides in conspicuous places easily seen by Drew.

Ghostface then chases her out to the road where Drew is run over by her father and eventually killed.

Later, we meet Cindy (Anna Faris) and are introduced to other characters from the movie Scream.  Gail Hailstorm the newswoman and Doofy who is the policeman from Scream but is portraying caricatures of these characters in Scary Movie.

Even if you haven’t seen Scream or I Know What You Did Last Summer you will get a kick out of Scary Movie. It pokes fun at the melodramatics usually associated with the horror genre and emphasizes the stupid decisions that victims always seem to make in slasher movies.

Scary Movie is a funny movie that is great for the entire family to watch and enjoy.

3. The Tuxedo

The Tuxedo follows Jimmy Tong (Jackie Chan) who was a cab driver now promoted to chauffeur driver for playboy millionaire Clark Devlin (Jason Isaacs).

Devlin only has one rule for Tong and that is don’t touch Devlin’s Tuxedo. Tong has no problem with that until one fateful day there is an explosion and Devlin has been hurt. It turns out Devlin is an agent and the bomb was meant to kill him. He has to stay in the hospital for a few days but wants Tong to carry on and solve the case.

Later, Rogers (Daniel Kash) is putting a virus inside bottled water that causes a body to dehydrate to the point of death. The idea is to destroy all sources of freshwater except for his company. He would be the only supply of fresh spring water, and the secret agency CSA is trying to foil his plan.

Tong puts on the Tuxedo and is instantly transformed into a secret agent with superpowers and teams up with Del Blaine (Jennifer Love Hewitt) to stop Rogers.

What follows is a riotous adventure of mishaps and confusion that provides a delightfully pleasing movie that is great for all ages. Do they stop the bad guy? Well, you will have to see it for yourself.
