4. Maggie (Lauren Cohan)

As most of us know, Maggie left The Walking Dead at the beginning of season 9 She’s expected to return in the back half of season 10, according to Skybound. And while that rules out a future appearance on FTWD, that might not be the case after all.

First off, Maggie left before the six-year time jump in season 9 of The Walking Dead. That means there’s a major gap in time where she and Baby Herschel’s whereabouts are unaccounted for. Many fans have theorized that Maggie joined Georgie (Jayne Atkinson) and her community, though it’s possible she stayed on the road.

If that’s the case, Maggie could easily make an appearance on FTWD before her return home in season 10. Who knows, perhaps the Widow will come to the rescue of someone who truly needs it, Morgan.

For anyone who doesn’t recall, Morgan was left in really bad shape the last time we saw him. Virginia (Colby Minifie) had just put a bullet in his chest and walkers were closing in on him. The situation hinted at Morgan’s death happening, but maybe the conclusion was a huge mislead.

Ever since the notorious scene aired, fans have been theorizing how Morgan will escape his latest predicament. Guesses range from crawling into one of the nearby establishments to Sherry coming to his rescue, but what if it’s Maggie who shows up at the last second.

While the chances are slim, we shouldn’t rule out the possibility of Maggie stopping by for a surprise cameo. She didn’t give any details on where she was headed before departing Hilltop in season 9 of The Walking Dead, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility for Maggie to be in Texas around the same time as her fellow TWD alum. A lot of factors would have to line up for Maggie to coincidentally be in the same area, but we’ve witnessed even more surprising twists on both Dead series in the past.
