5. Carol (Melissa McBride)

Carol Peletier might be a controversial pick for the next TWD character to crossover, but it makes the most sense. Fans who’ve been paying attention to Carol’s recent struggles in season 10 know that the battle with Alpha (Samantha Morton) and the Whisperers is weighing on her. Carol hasn’t made those feelings known to too many people, but she alluded to the issue during her deep conversation with Daryl (Norman Reedus).

Additionally, Carol has expressed her interest in leaving Alexandria and the other communities behind. She spoke of making a permanent exodus after returning from a fishing trip, then even went as far as to invite her longtime friend along. This is important because Daryl’s the only person who’d make Carol hesitate. But if they were to leave together, she could leave Alexandria and Hilltop without any regrets.

The reason we can picture Carol taking a road trip to Fear The Walking Dead’s neck of the woods is that she mentioned using Daryl’s bike. They’re basically on the East coast of the United States so the only direction they can travel in is West. Heading North or South is possible, of course, there’s not much road in either of those directions.

Riding towards the western side of the United States doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll run into Morgan and the Fear The Walking Dead crew, but it’s a good start. The silver lining to them not jumping right into the fight is they can take a well-deserved rest in the meantime. There aren’t too many safe havens left to kick back at, but we should remember that Daryl and Carol are both efficient scavengers. And if there are any villas like the one Victor (Colman Domingo) found still left, these two survivors will locate them.
