When is Crisis on Infinite Earths coming to Netflix?

Crisis on Infinite Earths hits Netflix this spring when new seasons of Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow are added. But, there’s a catch.

Crisis on Infinite Earths, DC’s most ambitious TV crossover to date, is underway and off to a great start! Unfortunately, there are many fans that watch the DC shows from The CW on Netflix, and those fans are wondering when the crossover will be available to stream.

We have some less than good news on that front. The five-part event will not be added to Netflix all at once. Because Crisis is a crossover that spans multiple series, it will be added to Netflix when the new seasons respective shows are added to Netflix, according to ComicBook.com.

The new seasons of Supergirl, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow are scheduled to be added to Netflix in May 2020. The new seasons will be added exactly eight days after their season finale.

The final season of Arrow, on the other hand, is expected to be added to Netflix in January 2020. So, you can watch that episode of the crossover a lot earlier than the rest.

More bad news. Batwoman, which is the second episode of the crossover, is not coming to Netflix. Instead, the series will be added to HBO Max. That means that you won’t be able to watch the full Crisis on Netflix after all. You will likely need to get an HBO Max subscription, in addition to your Netflix subscription, to watch the Batwoman episode of Crisis, which is a major bummer.

Batwoman is likely to be made available to stream as soon as the first season ends.

Now, let’s get some good news. You can watch Crisis on Infinite Earths on The CW app right now. Every episode of the crossover will be available to stream the day after they air on The CW. That means new episodes will be added to the app on Dec. 9, Dec. 10, Dec. 11, and Jan. 15. And, it’s free!

If you’re waiting to watch the crossover on Netflix, we highly recommend you try to stream it earlier on The CW app to eliminate the need for two streaming services.
