A Christmas Prince 3: The Royal Baby trailer: Curses, treaties, babies, oh my!

A Christmas Prince 3: The Royal Baby trailer is finally here. It brings promises of treaties, curses, and much more. Are you excited?

Netflix has dropped the trailer for A Christmas Prince 3: The Royal Baby, the Christmas movie franchise starring Rose McIver and Ben Lamb. It certainly promises another fun ride, as an unsigned treaty threatens a curse on the new royal baby.

It wasn’t all that surprising to hear that the royal couple would have a baby this Christmas. The first movie was about the couple meeting and the second movie was their royal wedding. What comes after love and marriage? Of course a baby! And sure, we could get on our feminist rants about how it’s not all about marriage and kids, but sometimes, we just need the old-school movies to sit back and relax. No need to think!

This movie isn’t just going to be about the baby, though. Or even about the pregnancy. There’s a treaty that needs to be resigned. Easy, right?

Well, Amber naturally has a few ideas to update the treaty. Usually, the queens will step back and let their kings get to work, but she wants to suggest that 600-year-old treaty gets the modern-day treatment. I’m sure that will go down well!

Maybe it would if the treaty scrolls didn’t go missing. There’s absolutely no way that it can be signed on regular paper, is there? I mean, that would be absurd, right! We need to keep the pomp and circumstance—although I’m sure Amber things a bit of modern paperwork would be better too!

There’s an issue if the treaty scrolls aren’t found. A curse is placed on the firstborn. Of course, that firstborn is the Aldovian royal baby, and Amber is one to believe in curses. I find that a little surprising, but I’ll roll with it for the sake of the movie.

With all the drama, there’s still going to be time for some fun couple moments. The use of the slippers and line with “the perfect fit” is just so adorable.
