A Christmas Prince 3 is officially happening. Amber and Richard are back with new threats to the kingdom of Aldovia, but have some exciting news of their own.

Since A Christmas Prince started the royal love story and the second movie saw the royal wedding officially happen, it was only natural that a growing family would be next on the list. What’s A Christmas Prince 3 going to be about?

If you think the British Royal Family is a basis for this royal couple then you’ll be right. Remember shortly after Prince Harry and Meghan Markel’s wedding they announced their pregnancy? That’s the storyline Netflix is going for with A Christmas Prince 3.

The third movie is officially titled A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby, so there really were no guesses for the events that would happen. Netflix even shared the sweetest baby announcement to share the update for the movie.

But, naturally, it’s not all going to be about the pregnancy news. Aldovia couldn’t possibly go a third movie without trouble for the kingdom, right? Bustle shares that Amber and Richard are heading to another kingdom “faraway” to renew an ancient truce. Why do I get thoughts of Shrek right now?

While visiting, the 600-year-old truce disappears (whether that’s literally or not isn’t clear) and peace is now in jeopardy. Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, an ancient curse will threaten the royal family. So, a normal holiday season for the journalist-turned-queen-of-a-small-country.

Hopefully, she’ll blog all about her ventures and this ancient case. I’d hate to see that she had to give up her identity because of this marriage. Maybe just a blog post with the pregnancy announcement? After all, there would need to be an official announcement so why not get with the times?

Rose McIver and Ben Lamb will reprise their roles for A Christmas Prince 3. The big question is whether someone new will take on the role of Rudy, Amber’s father.
