25. Rhythm + Flow

Premiere date: Oct. 9

This is Netflix’s first time tapping into reality TV that highlights potential musical talent in a competitive series. And, if we are being honest, we love it already! Here’s why you will want to be sure to watch Rhythm + Flow.

There was a time reality TV took over all small screens, specifically competition TV series. After a while, it grew tiring but just as addicting as ever. If you are searching for something similar, but with a twist, check out Rhythm + Flow, premiering on Netflix Oct. 9.

Rhythm + Flow follows the same vibes as rival shows such as The Voice and American Idol, but with a new flow. See what I did there? Sitting at the judges table will be Cardi B, Chance the Rapper and T.I., all three are popular faces in the world of hip-hop who know a thing or two about the music.

The trio will put their listening ears on and search for the next breakout hip-hop star. I don’t need to tell you that Cardi, Chance, and T.I. know what the journey to stardom is like, especially Cardi B, who fought for her place in the hip-hop industry. They know about struggles, but, more importantly, they can recognize talent and a good beat.

According to Netflix’s bio for the show, Cardi, Chance, and T.I. will judge auditions in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City. But before you get ready to tune in Oct. 9 to watch the auditions, competition, and the crowning of the winner, hold back, Netflix is doing something different here.

The first four episodes, which cover the auditions, go live Oct. 9, but the competitions won’t begin until the following week, Oct. 16. Finally, the winner will be announced Oct. 23.
