More than 105 million people have seen Orange is the New Black
According to Netflix’s content chief Cindy Holland, more 105 MILLION people have watched at least one episode of the American prison drama Orange Is the New Black!
In case you were wondering how popular Orange is the New Black really is, Netflix has revealed the statistics!
In an interview with Variety, Cindy Holland, Netflix’s content chief has said that the show which is landing on the streaming site on July 26 for the last time has been watched by more than 105 million users, and well, that’s QUITE A NUMBER!
It might even be more than that when you think about password sharing and families and friends who watch the series together.
Not only that, soon after the show premiered for the first time on Netflix, it became the most-watched Netflix original show of all time! Pretty sure the numbers have been affected now, all thanks to Stranger Things and its insane popularity.
That doesn’t change the fact that Orange Is the New Black has been watched by more than 105 million people already and has a crazy fan following itself.

First premiered on Netflix in 2013, the longtime running drama series, however, is sadly coming to an end and the upcoming season 7 which is scheduled to air on Netflix soon is going to be the last. Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Michael Harney, Michelle Hurst, Kate Mulgrew, Jason Biggs, Uzo Aduba, Danielle Brooks, Natasha Lyonne, Taryn Manning, Adrienne C Moore, and Dascha Polanco are all returning to reprise their respective roles for one last time to give us one powerful finale.
The plot of the last installment of the series will revolve around Piper finally leaving the Penitentiary and trying to adjust in the real world and the other women moving ahead with their own adventures. This will be the last we see of our favorite prison ladies and I am NOT ready for it!

As you can see in the video, the whole cast and crew of OITNB is having a hard time saying goodbye to the iconic show as well and things are getting pretty emotional at Litchfield.
