The first movie on the list is one of Netflix’s newest releases. Murder Mystery is a fun comedy with star power from Sandler, Aniston, and Evans. It’s been gaining the attention of many Netflix viewers for its comedic take on murder mysteries.

The movie follows a New York Police Officer, Nick (Sandler), and his hairdresser wife Audrey (Aniston). When the pair got married, Nick promised Audrey that they would travel to Europe. 15 years later, they still haven’t been to Europe so Nick lies and said he booked the trip as a surprise. He comes up with a plan and the couple leaves for the trip.

While on the plane, Audrey meets a billionaire named Charles Cavendish (Evans). He invites them to a party on his family’s yacht and they accept his offer. Multiple people are on board the boat including Charles’ uncle, Malcolm Quince. The lights mysteriously go out and when they turn back on, Malcolm is found dead stabbed by his own dagger.

The rest of the guests including Nick and Audrey are deemed suspects for the murder. What ensues is a hilarious investigation trying to solve the murder. The pair try to stay out of danger when they realize the threat is not over.
