A list of 10 good Netflix shows canceled despite large fanbases and a lot support for the shows, including Sense8, One Day at a Time, and Santa Clarita Diet.

Netflix has been making great content for a while now. We’ve seen so many Netflix shows, like Stranger Things, Orange is the New Black and others, praised by critics and fans all over the world. Unfortunately, Netflix is also running a very big business and putting billions into content every year, and that means some shows, even successful shows with passionate fanbases, have to go.

On this list, you’ll find 10 Netflix original shows that were canceled at Netflix despite tons of fans and support for the series to continue. We didn’t include shows that were given a season to wrap up all the storylines. These are shows that were canceled with little warning.

Let’s get the list started with Sense8!

Sense8

Sense8, created by the Wachowskis, was the first big, popular Netflix show to get canceled at the streaming service with little warning. The series was canceled after the second season was released in 2017.

The show also had a very loyal fanbase, but according to the streaming network, Sense8’s budget was too big compared to the number of viewers who were watching about the show. Obviously, that’s dilemma all these shows faced: the audience wasn’t big enough for the streaming network.

Fans of the Netflix sci-fi series were not happy with this show ending on a cliffhanger, so the fanbase united and they made Netflix see the market for this show. The streaming network, then, capped off the series with an epic series finale. It wasn’t exactly what Sense8 fans wanted, but it was great.

There hasn’t been a show like Sense8 on TV since it ended, and that’s a shame. This diverse, inclusive series was incredibly interesting and entertaining. I hope we see something like Sense8 on Netflix in the near future.
