Netflix adds 35 new movies and shows today

There are 35 new movies and shows to stream on Netflix, as of Wednesday, May 1, 2019. We shared the full list of new releases for the first day of the month below.

For those paying attention in the last week, Netflix shared the full list of what’s new on Netflix in May 2019. Today, the best month of the year so far for the streaming service kicks off with a bunch of new movies and shows.

Most notably, Knock Down The House, a new documentary about grassroots political campaigns, is now available to stream. The film follows four campaigns during the 2018 election cycle, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s election victory. This is one of the biggest political documentaries of the year, and I think it should be a great behind-the-scenes look at the campaigns of several influential figures.

In addition to Knock Down The House, you should also check out Roswell, New Mexico. The first season of the series recently ended on The CW, and now, the first season is streaming on Netflix. Other seasons of the series will also be added to the streaming service, so you know that you’re investing your time wisely.

We also recommend checking out The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, the first two Austin Powers movies, Dumb and Dumber, Hoosiers, and Wedding Crashers are also available to stream today.

There are also a few movies and shows we see on Netflix from time to time and then they disappear. Scream, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Gremlins, Just Friends, The Matrix Trilogy, and a few more are also available to stream.
