Renewed: Lucifer

Renewed for Season 5 

What’s it’s about: Lucifer stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer who has come back to the human realm to assist the Los Angeles Police Department to solve various crimes. The series follows his life and those closest to him.

Lucifer originally ran for three seasons of Fox before the network canceled the series after season 3. Netflix, then, picked up the series for season 4, which just premiered on Netflix in May 2019.

Netflix quickly renewed Lucifer for season 5 after the show was the most popular show on Netflix for basically the whole month since its release date. Unfortuantely, the fifth season of the series will be the final season of the show.

When will season 5 premiere: Netflix did not announce when exactly to expect the new season of the series, but we know it’s coming in 2020. Netflix usually releases new season about a year after the previous season, so we’re expecting it will be released in the spring of 2020.
