The wait has been hell but it’s finally over. New Girl season 7 is finally streaming on Netflix. Yes, you read that right.

Okay, so as we shared previously, New Girl season 7 isn’t “late.” The show was always due to be available to stream at least eight months after the season finished on television. It just feels like we’ve been waiting forever because, well, it’s the final season.

The series is now available in full. Yes, the series. All seven seasons can be enjoyed at your leisure and I’m sure, like me, you’re going to watch the seventh season first. This is a chance to relive that final season first and then you can rewatch the whole series over and over again. With any hope, we can make New Girl the next Friends and The Office.

Unfortunately, there are only seven seasons. Thanks to network TV still relying on old viewing methods for decisions, the series didn’t garner enough views in its later years to “justify” keeping it on the air. At least the episodes are not available to stream when you want.

If you’ve never watched New Girl then you’re certainly missing out. This is a comedy that wasn’t afraid to get serious when it needed to. Starring Zoey Deschanel, Max Greenwood, Jake Johnson, Hannah Simone, Lamorne Morris, and Damon Wayans Jr., the series focused on a group of friends – well, the group that would eventually become friends – and how they went through their lives.

Knowing it would be the last, the series gave us a final season we could all enjoy and appreciate. It wrapped the storyline, giving us a time jump to see where the group would be five years later.
