We’re still a few weeks away from the premiere of All That We Destroy but a synopsis has already been released for the next installment of Blumhouse’s Into The Dark series. Read on for more details.

Since the next installment of Blumhouse’s Into The Dark series premieres in May, it makes sense that the following episode would be Mother’s Day-themed in nature. Every episode thus far has been dedicated to a specific holiday so Mother’s Day is a logical choice. That being said, the episode description for All That We Destroy gives us the impression that it isn’t something you’ll want to watch with your own mother.

Warning! Potential spoilers for Into The Dark: All That We Destroy follow. You’ve been warned.

According to a report from Deadline, the Mother’s Day-themed episode will revolve around a geneticist and her psychopath son. The doctor will apparently manufacture clones for her son as some sort of deranged cure to his psychopathic tendencies.

As far as casting goes, character details have yet to be revealed. What we do know are the names of which actors and actresses will be in the episode. The list includes Israel Broussard, Aurora Perrineau, Samantha Mathis, Frank Whaley, and Dora Madison. Chelsea Stardust is directing the episode.

Fans may recognize Perrineau’s name from the first installment of Into The Dark but we should note that she won’t be reprising her role as the same character next month. The main reason is that Perrineau’s character died in The Body—so unless sci-fi elements are going to factor into All That We Destroy—she’ll be playing a different character this time around.

In any case, the casting announcements provide us with some clues as to who’ll be playing which characters. For one, Samantha Mathis is likely playing the geneticist mother. She’s the only listed cast member around the age of someone who could be both a mother and a scientist, reasonably speaking that is.

For her lunatic son, Israel Broussard seems like the logical choice. He’s around the right age to portray a young psychopath and could easily play the part. If you don’t believe us, check out Broussard’s performance in Happy Death Day. He’s not the murderer in that movie but half of us expected him to be going into the film.

The final character we need to assign a role to is the victim who gets cloned. Unfortunately, the only detail we have to go off of is that the geneticist’s son kills her. There are two actors who come to mind—Aurora Perrineau and Dora Madison—but it’s anyone’s guess as to which actress will be placed in the part.
