The Order renewed for season 2 at Netflix

The Order season 2 is officially happening at Netflix. The streaming network renewed The Order for season 2 only a few weeks after the first season premiered.

The Order is coming back for season 2 at Netflix, according to a report from Deadline. Netflix announced The Order season 2 renewal in a new video posted on YouTube, and you can watch that renewal announcement below.

The Order premiered on Netflix on March 7, so this is a very quick renewal for Netflix. Typically, the streaming network waits a month or two before announcing a renewal. That just shows how popular this series is among Netflix subscribers.

Jake Manley, Sarah Grey, Max Martini, Matt Frewer and Sam Trammell star in the series, which was created by Dennis Heaton.

According to the Deadline report, production on season 2 is scheduled to start in the next few months in Canada. The second season will consist of 10 episodes, and it will be released on Netflix in 2020. That’s the best we can do for predicting the release date at this point!

Horror and supernatural shows have been doing very well for Netflix recently. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and The Haunting of Hill House were the first original horror shows to move the needle. Since, Netflix seems to be doubling down on this content with the Haunting series moving forward, The Order coming back for season 2, and an additional season of Sabrina already on the way. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2 premieres on Netflix in April.

We can’t wait to see what Netflix and the creatives behind The Order have in store for us in season 2. The first season was really good, and it’s a must-watch for those who like supernatural shows with a little young adult drama!
