Fuller House’s Lori Loughlin charged in college admissions scheme

Fuller House and Netflix star Lori Loughlin has been charged in a college admissions bribery scheme.

Lori Laughlin, star of the Netflix original series Fuller House and classic sitcom Full House, has been arrested and charged for her involvement in a college admissions scheme, according to a report from Deadline.

In the biggest news story of the morning, Loughlin and a number of other individuals, including actors Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy, allegedly made paid millions to the Key Worldwide Foundation to help their kids get into elite schools. The organization paid others to take admissions tests for the kids or adjust the scores, according to the report.

Deadline is also reporting the organization also tried to make contacts with coaches to admit the students as athletes, even if the students were not even athletes.

According to the report, Loughlin was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services fraud.

I don’t know about you, but this sounds like it could be the premise of a movie. And, I’m sure there will probably be a movie or TV show based on this organization and their admissions bribery scheme.

Clearly, we don’t know anything about the law or anything like that, so we won’t speculate on how this will impact those involved. We have to imagine this could impact the future of Fuller House, though.

Fuller House is coming back for a fifth and final season at Netflix. We don’t know much about it yet, but usually, the new season is released at the end of the year. We still don’t know if they’ve started filming yet, but depending on what happens with Loughlin, her role in the series could be impacted.
