Netflix has more or less given the go head for The Umbrella Academy season 2. So here are 10 shows to watch while we wait for a new season of the dysfunctional family of superheroes.

In case you missed the news, The Umbrella Academy season 2 is all but confirmed. Reports have  stated the series has been renewed by Netflix and the production team is also looking for filming locations. All we’re waiting for is that official nod from Netflix itself.

The series about a dysfunctional family of superheroes was a huge surprise and an absolute joy to watch. I didn’t intend on binge-watching the series but in the end, I did. I just had to know what was going to happen next.

The characters were amazing, the overall story arc was compelling, the acting was on point, and don’t even get me started on the how good the music was. I’ve got The Umbrella Academy playlist downloaded from Spotify; it was that good.

So yeah, in case you couldn’t guess, I’m happy The Umbrella Academy season 2 is happening. The only thing I’m not happy about is the fact I’m going to have to wait, what will probably be a couple of years going by Netflix standards, for the second season.

Thankfully, Netflix is filled with many great TV shows to watch which hopefully help you, and me, get through the excruciating wait we are about to go through. I’ve got 10 TV shows that are ideal to watch while waiting for The Umbrella Academy season 2, but depending on where you are in the world, might depend on how easy it is for you to watch them.

Five of the TV shows chosen are widely available on Netflix in many countries but not in all of them. For example, one of the shows is aired on the SYFY Network in the US but is a Netflix Original pretty much everywhere else.
