What will the second season of You on Netflix bring our way? Here are five bold predictions for You season 2!

You on Netflix quickly became everyone’s latest obsession, and for good reason! It’s packed with chills, an intriguing story, and scenes that keep audiences on the edge of their seats. And with Penn Badgley leading the series, how can we not love it?

The series has quite the history despite only being one season old. You premiered on Lifetime, quickly receiving a renewal. However, due to a lack of interest from viewers, the network canceled it and took back its promise for a second season. Thankfully, and fortunately for us, Netflix adopted Joe Goldberg and it has become one of the streaming service’s biggest shows.

According to See What’s Next on Twitter, the psychological drama will be seen by over 40 million subscribers before the month of January is over. Are you one of the many who has binge-watched the series? If not, you’re missing out!

Just in case you haven’t seen the show, please note there are huge spoilers ahead that’ll ruin the first season of You

1. Ethan finds out and it complicates everything

Ethan (portrayed by Zach Cherry) works closely with Joe at the book shop. So close, in fact, that it’s incredibly surprising Ethan doesn’t know, or has a clue, about Joe Goldberg’s true colors. This could be why Joe, being the store manager, keeps Ethan around. Ethan is chirpy and very oblivious to what’s happening around him.

Joe and Ethan seem to be pretty good friends, too. Ethan appears to know a lot about Joe and Candace (Ambyr Childers), and didn’t share many details about it with Beck (Elizabeth Lail), which means he’s trustworthy.

If Ethan makes any discoveries about Joe, he’s going to be in for a shock! Ethan is loyal, but Joe’s secrets are too big to keep under wraps. Joe will likely have to kill him, and it won’t be easy since Joe actually does care about him.
