The Straw Hats are finally back — and we do mean finally. It's been almost three years since Netflix's hit original series One Piece made its premiere, but the fantasy action-adventure series brings its long awaited second season to our screens at long last. Even though the waiting has felt endless, we'll be rewarded with something even better than treasure or gold.
Based on the manga series, which also spawned a popular anime series, One Piece follows the Straw Hats Pirates as their adventures take them on dangerous quests on the high seas, taking on unexpected and larger-than-life enemies, all in the name of searching for epic treasure with years of legendary history. In season 2, the Straw Hats' adventure gets even bigger.
Wondering when you can tune in the very second the Straw Hats set sail in One Piece season 2? We're sharing the release date and release time for the new episodes based on time zones around the world to ensure fans don't miss a second of the action!

When does One Piece season 2 release on Netflix?
One Piece season 2 premieres on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 on Netflix. While the streamer typically releases new seasons of its scripted original on Thursdays (though some exceptions apply), Netflix has opted to drop the highly anticipated second season on a Tuesday. The release might sneak up on you, but who's going to complain when we don't have to wait until Thursday?!
Like most Netflix originals, the season begins streaming at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT, meaning that you will have to burn the midnight oil in order to start watching as soon as the season premieres. Thankfully, all eight episodes will be released at once and we don't have to worry about a two-part release splitting the season in half like other hit Netflix series.
