If you’ve been desperately searching for another feel-good series to fill the void between seasons of Virgin River, Netflix has a very exciting release headed your way this June. One of television’s most cozy, small-town dramas is finally making its return to the streaming platform, and honestly, it couldn’t have arrived at a better time.
Sullivan's Crossing season 4 is officially coming to Netflix next month!
The streaming giant recently revealed its full lineup of shows and movies coming to its platform in June, and the fourth season of the hit CW series made the cut. The exact date, you ask? That’ll be Tuesday, June 30, 2026. This is when you’ll be able to stream the entire 10-episode fourth season on Netflix.
We might not know the exact release time for Sullivan's Crossing season 4, but there’s a good chance it’ll drop at Netflix’s usual release time of 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET. However, this is just a guess. The streaming giant hasn’t actually revealed what time the new episodes will drop. Nonetheless, May is nearly over and you’ll be able to stream the new installment before you know it!

Sullivan's Crossing season 4’s upcoming arrival on Netflix doesn’t come as a surprise at all. The streamer acquired licensing rights to the drama series last year and added seasons 1, 2, and 3 throughout 2025. Although not confirmed, we had an inkling that Netflix would eventually add the fourth season as well. The show has performed really well on the platform, so it only made sense for Netflix to continue bringing over new seasons.
We just didn’t think it would be coming this quick. When the fourth installment drops on Netflix on June 30, only eight days will have passed since the season 4 finale originally aired on The CW. That’s a very short turnaround for a licensed show. Usually, streaming services wait several months after a season finishes airing before adding it to their platform.
Luckily, this won’t be the case for Sullivan’s Crossing season 4. Netflix subscribers won’t have to endure a painfully long wait to catch up on all the newest episodes, so that’s really good news!
For anyone unfamiliar with the series, Sullivan’s Crossing is based on the bestselling novels by author Robyn Carr. That name should immediately ring a bell for Virgin River fans seeing as though Carr is the same author behind the Virgin River book series.
Roma Roth created Sullivan’s Crossing. It’s a romantic drama series that centers around once-successful neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan who, after being arrested because of legal troubles, leaves Boston behind and moves back home to Nova Scotia to reconnect with her estranged father. Shortly after arrival, Maggie meets local handyman Cal Jones, and eventually a romantic connection sparks between the two.
Morgan Kohan (When Hope Calls) stars in the leading role as Maggie, with Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill) as Cal. Also in the show’s cast are Tom Jackson, Andrea Menard, Lynda Boyd, Allan Hawco, Amalia Williamson, and many others. Scott Patterson played Maggie’s father, Sully, for the first three seasons but departed the series in March 2026 due to creative differences. That said, he does not appear in the fourth season at all.

It's unclear if there will be a Sullivan's Crossing season 5. The CW has yet to renew the romantic drama for another installment, but given how popular the show is, we're not too worried that the network will make the wrong decision and cancel it. The series has only continued to grow in popularity, especially after gaining a wider audience through Netflix.
But for now, we'll just have to wait and see how everything turns out. What we do know for sure is that Sullivan's Crossing season 4 is coming to Netflix on June 30. Don't forget to save the date!
