When Victorious premiered on Nickelodeon in 2010, it quickly became a favorite for a reason. Set at Hollywood Arts High School, the show followed Tori Vega and her friends as they navigated auditions, friendships, and all the chaos of teen life. Sadly, the teen series came to an end after four seasons, and fans have been waiting ever since for a chance to return to the halls of Hollywood Arts.
Well, that moment has finally arrived. Nickelodeon and Netflix are teaming up to bring fans a brand-new spinoff series, Hollywood Arts, set in the same beloved performing arts high school. This time, the spotlight shifts to Trina Vega, played by Daniella Monet, who returns to the school not as a student, but as a substitute teacher trying to find her footing in the adult world while still chasing her acting dreams.
Monet also serves as executive producer on the series. Jake Farrow, who's best known for his work on Victorious and iCarly, is signed on as showrunner, writer, and executive producer. In addition, Samantha Martin (Henry Danger, Danger Force) serves as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer, bringing her experience with teen-focused, high-energy comedy to the project. Paramount Television Studios is the production company behind the series, and Jonathan Judge directs the pilot episode and serves as an executive producer.

The cameras have officially started rolling on Hollywood Arts in Vancouver, Canada, so things are moving right along. There will be a total of 26 episodes in the first season, which is quite an ambitious slate for a spinoff. However, it makes sense since the show was initially only going to be aired on Nickelodeon.
Now, it will debut first on Netflix sometime in 2026. After that, it will also be shown on Nickelodeon and Paramount+. But like its Netflix release, no official dates have been announced for the Nickelodeon or Paramount+ premieres. All that is known is that the show will premiere on this network and streamer later next year.
Joining Monet in the cast for this much-anticipated spinoff are a bunch of up-and-coming young actors. The cast includes Alyssa Miles (Hanging Out with Alyssa and Xavier), Emmy Liu-Wang (Raven’s Home), Peyton Jackson (Woman in the Yard, Young Dylan), Erika Swayze (School Spirits), and Martin Kamm (Unsung Hero, Web of Spiderman). Adding to the excitement, Yvette Nicole Brown returns as Principal Helen, ensuring that fans of the original series will recognize familiar faces.
To announce that production has kicked off, Netflix released a short video of the cast on set of the upcoming multi-cam comedy. Check it out below!
This is all that's known about Hollywood Arts at the moment. Once the new series wraps up filming, the episodes will then enter post-production before making their way to Netflix. Of course, you can count on us at Netflix Life to share the official release date as soon as it's announced. But for now, you'll just have to keep yourself busy in the meantime by watching the original series on Netflix.
