Every single month, Netflix does something great. It rolls out an incredible lineup of fresh content, and honestly, it’s hard not to get excited. From the moment the calendar flips, the streaming giant floods its platform with new movies, series, documentaries, and specials that are impossible to ignore.
This November, Netflix is about to supercharge your streaming experience with not one, but two huge DC superhero movies. Yes, you read that right. The streamer is bringing two DC films straight to your screen, and if you’re a fan of epic action, larger-than-life heroes, and iconic villains, November is about to become your favorite month of the year!
While there are several DC shows currently streaming on Netflix like Supergirl, The Flash, Black Lightning, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, there aren't any DC movies. That said, Netflix is giving fans something truly special next month.
Blue Beetle makes its Netflix debut in November 2025

- Netflix release date: Nov. 17, 2025
The first DC movie to land on Netflix in November is Blue Beetle. While it's been available to stream on HBO Max for a while, this will be the first time it streams on Netflix. Of course, it won't stream on this platform forever. Netflix doesn't own it, and eventually, like all licensed content, it will disappear. That's why it's imperative that you watch it as soon as possible.
Blue Beetle is part of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), serving as both an introduction to a brand-new hero, Jaime Reyes, and a fresh expansion of the interconnected world of superheroes and villains that fans know and love. The story follows Jamie, a recent college graduate whose life is turned upside down when he discovers a mysterious alien scarab that grants him a powerful, high-tech suit of armor, ultimately transforming him into the superhero known as Blue Beetle.
Xolo Maridueña stars in the leading role as Jamie, aka Blue Beetle. Adriana Barraza, Damián Alcázar, Raoul Max Trujillo, Susan Sarandon, George Lopez, and many others are also in the cast.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom arrives on Netflix in November 2025

- Netflix release date: Nov. 27, 2025
If you're a person who enjoys watching anything Netflix-related, then you've probably watched some of the Netflix movies and shows starring Jason Momoa. Perhaps you've watched Frontier, Slumberland and/or Sweet Girl. Momoa stars in all three of those projects, which are currently streaming on Netflix.
In November, the streaming giant will add Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom to its streaming lineup, giving fans the chance to dive back into the epic underwater world of Atlantis with Momoa reprising his iconic role as Arthur Curry, aka Aquaman. This film is also part of the DCEU, serving as the last movie in the universe.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is a sequel to the 2018 Aquaman film, picking up after the events of the first movie and taking audiences on an even bigger, more thrilling adventure beneath the waves. In the film, Aquaman goes up against the vengeful Black Manta, who wields the legendary Black Trident to awaken a formidable ancient power that endangers both Atlantis and the surface world. To confront this extraordinary threat, Aquaman must join forces with his half-brother, Orm, the former ruler of Atlantis.
Besides Momoa, the cast includes Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Randall Park, Dolph Lundgren, Temuera Morrison, Martin Short, and Nicole Kidman.
