There's a Netflix show currently burning up the Top 10 most-watched shows ranking that's putting up a decent fight against the latest seasons of massive hits Bridgerton and The Lincoln Lawyer. It's the German spy thriller Unfamiliar, which was released in February 2026 and has quickly become a surprise hit among viewers looking for a show to keep them on the edge of their seat.

Unfamiliar takes place in Berlin and centers on former spies Simon (Felix Kramer) and Meret (Susanne Wolff), who have traded in their past work to operate a safe house. However, the married couple are thrown back into the spy world when they are forced to run from a threat they believed had been stopped. But now they're confronting all kinds of dangers while also maintaining their relationship.

The suspenseful new hit series contains six episodes, which are all between 50 minutes to an hour in length. That's a pretty quick binge-watch that can be tackled in one sitting and leave you hoping that there's a season 2 in the works. If you're looking to keep the spy drama thrills coming a mile a minute, add these three Netflix shows with political conspiracies and mysteries to your watch list!
