Mickey Haller is back! It's been a long time since we last caught up with the Los Angeles lawyer who became known for conducting business from the backseat of his Lincoln. The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 premieres on Netflix over year after season 3 left us with our jaws severely dropped considering the series hit us with one of the show's most unbelievable cliffhangers to date.

In The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 finale, Mickey was pulled over by the police for a missing license plate, but the encounter ended up with Mickey being arrested for murder. The cop found the dead body of Mickey's former client Sam Scales in the truck of his car as a trail of blood was dripping from the back of the vehicle. Obviously, we know Mickey didn't do it, but can he fight the charges?

What to expect from The Lincoln Lawyer season 4?

The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 gains its inspiration from Michael Connelly's book The Law of Innocence, and as previously mentioned, the new episodes will tackle Mickey being on the other side of his complicated cases for once. He's never had to represent himself or have his team fight on his behalf, but he's determined to find the real killer and uncover how he became involved in Sam's murder. In addition to Manuel Garcia Rulfo reprising his role as Mickey Haller, much of the main cast remains the same: Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson, Becki Newton as Lorna Crane, Jazz Raycole as Izzy, and Angus Sampson as Cisco. We can also expect to see the usual suspects recurring once again, like Krista Warner as Hayley Haller, Elliott Gould as Legal, and others popping up here and there.

New cast members for season 4 include Constance Zimmer, Sasha Alexander, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Marcus Henderson, Gigi Zumbado, Scott Lawrence, Cobie Smulders, Kacey Montoya, Jason O’Mara, Jason Butler Harner, Javon Johnson, Kyle Richards, and Nancy Silverton. There's no doubt these characters will bring some unexpected surprises and plot twists we won't see coming!

Yes! Prior to the season's release, Netflix dropped the full official trailer for The Lincoln Lawyer season 4, which gives viewers a first-look at what's coming throughout the new episodes.
