We are inching closer to the Academy Awards (or Oscars, as many people call them), one of the most popular programs every year on broadcast television. Netflix is up for a number of awards this year, with 13-time nominee Emilia Pérez leading the way. As a lead-up to the Oscars, though, the Screen Actors Guild Awards are held.

The great bit for Netflix subscribers in 2025 is that the streamer will carry the 31st annual SAG awards. The ceremony is held at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California, but you can watch it on many of your different devices. It's a win for subscribers who love awards shows.

But when are the awards, and who is the host? Heck, who are the nominees? Here is what you need to know.

The host will be Kirsten Bell. She is, of course, one of the leads on Netflix's Nobody Wants This. She is also nominated for a SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for the Netflix series. This is her second time hosting the SAGs, with the first time coming in 2018.

You can watch the ceremony on Sunday, February 23, beginning at 8 pm ET. But, again, you can only do that on Netflix.
