3 raunchy comedy Netflix movies to watch if you love 72 Hours

Whenever Kevin Hart releases a new movie, whether it's in theaters or on Netflix, you can always guarantee that audiences will flock to see the actor and comedian's latest comedy. This summer, Hart headlined the ensemble Netflix comedy movie 72 Hours alongside Marcello Hernández, Ben Marshall, Mason Gooding, and Kam Patterson. It's no surprise it's been No. 1 since its release.

In the movie, Hart stars as Joe, an executive who finds himself added to a group chat belonging to four 20-something strangers. Joe winds up invited on their bachelor party weekend trip, and although he was looking to gain something from tagging along with them, the group ends up suffering far more than a hangover from the wild events that unfold.

72 Hours wasn't well-received by critics, but then again, it's rare that a raunchy comedy movie wins over critics as much as it does the audience that enjoys the genre. If you're looking for more R-rated comedy movies to add to your Netflix watch list, the streaming service boasts plenty more options, including three especially must-watch titles fans of 72 Hours will love.

Little Brother (2026)

Clearly, Netflix comedy movies have been on fire this summer. The streamer also released Little Brother in June, and if you somehow missed this title earlier in the summer, it's definitely the raunchy comedy to turn on next for big laughs like 72 Hours.

From director Matt Spicer, Little Brother stars John Cena and Eric André in a buddy comedy about Rudd (Cena), a real estate agent, and Marcus (André) a patient who escaped psychiatric hospital. Years in the past, Rudd was Marcus' "big brother" in a mentorship program, and he continues to look to Marcus as a sibling, especially after everything that he's been through.

Naturally, when Marcus comes back into Rudd's life, it's not smooth sailing in the least bit, making for some hilarious bits and twists. The movie also stars Michelle Monaghan and Christopher Meloni among other familiar faces. Little Brother delivers very big laughs!

Me Time (2022)

You can't have a list of Netflix movies to watch, especially raunchy comedy Netflix movies, without including another title starring Kevin Hart. The thing about Netflix movies is that they can sometimes be forgotten after the years pass by. It's always onto the next shiny new thing.

Even if you're currently obsessed with 72 Hours, you have to rewind the clock a bit to appreciate Hart's 2022 Netflix movie Me Time. Hart stars in the movie as Sonny, the best friend of Huck (Mark Walhberg), a stay-at-home dad who suddenly has some free time on his hands to spend away from his family. Unfortunately, Sonny and Huck's weekend reunion explodes into a dangerous mess.

Me Time might be the most closely aligned movie to 72 Hours on this list, the perfect one-to-one suggestion. They're both about people who unexpectedly and unintentionally wind up involved in situations that put their lives at risk. If you like one, you're almost guaranteed to enjoy the other.

Incoming (2024)

Moving from two adult movies, one of the keystones of the raunchy comedy genre is the teen subgenre. There's at least one massively popular envelope-pushing teen comedy in every generation, like American Pie or Superbad. Netflix's Incoming is that for Gen Z.

Incoming stars Mason Thames, Ramon Reed, Bardia Seiri, and Raphael Alejandro as a group of friends entering their freshman year of high school and looking to change the perception of who they were in middle school. Looking for a fresh start, the friends embark upon their first high school party, which quickly goes off the rails and nearly has the opposite effect of their goal.

Released by in August 2024, Incoming hasn't totally gotten the love that teen party movies usually do, but then again, most of them end up being cult favorites anyway. Incoming is the perfect end of summer movie to whether you're actually an incoming freshman or just looking for nostalgic laughs.
