What is Little Wing about?
Little Wing is a drama movie from Awesomeness Films. It's inspired by the New Yorker article of the same name by Susan Orlean and was directed by Dean Israelite from a screenplay written by John Gatins.
It follows a 13-year-old girl named Kaitlyn McKay, whose life is falling apart quickly. Her parents are getting a divorce and her mother is ready to sell their family home since it's too expensive to pay by herself. This leads Kaitlyn and her best friend Adam to come up with a solution and fast. That solution being stealing a valuable racing pigeon from a pigeon breeder nearby and selling it. But when said pigeon owner shows up at Kaitlyn's house with her bag that she accidentally left behind when stealing his bird, Kaitlyn assumes that she's in a world of trouble. But what ends up happening instead is Kaitlyn forms a unique bond with the pigeon owner as they both work together to recover his bird.
Young talented actress Brooklynn Prince portrays the role of Kaitlyn McKay. She's best known for starring as Moonee in the comedy-drama film The Florida Project, which is currently streaming on Netflix. He has two Netflix films currently set to be released in 2024 such as the sci-fi adventure film The Electric State and the animated movie That Christmas.
