Another summer weekend has arrived, and we're getting into the post-Fourth of July half of summer when we're all tiring of the heat and ready for something new. While there aren't any major Netflix new releases hitting our watch lists this weekend — no Stranger Things, no Virgin River, no Outer Banks — there's still plenty of exciting, fresh titles to dive into during your time off.

If you take a peak at the top 10 shows on Netflix, you will still see the likes of Your Honor, Suits, Supacell, and various documentary series from weeks past still hanging around as new fans continue to binge-watch the popular titles. But the third and final season of Vikings: Valhalla arrived this weekend to shake up the top 10. Here are more shows and movies to check out!

Vikings: Valhalla

If you're a diehard fan of the Vikings franchise, you don't have to wait any longer for Vikings: Valhalla season 3. You can now start binge-watching all eight episodes of the final season and see the exciting conclusion of how the series comes to an end.

The final season picks back up with Freydis, Leif, and Harald seven years after season 2 and finds them taking on new battles and challenges. If you don't remember seasons 1 and 2, then watch the complete series. It's only 24 episodes, and that's basically one single season of Grey's Anatomy.

The Neon Highway

New to Netflix this week, Netflix recently added the drama film The Neon Highway that's centered in the world of country music. Rob Mayes stars as a country music singer-songwriter who ends up having to work a regular job when an accident derails his music career. Later on, he meets aging country star Claude Allen (Beau Bridges) and begin a partnership.

Desperate Lies

A new series you might have seen pop into the top 10 most popular TV shows ranking lately is the Brazilian drama series Desperate Lies. In the series, a woman who's marriage has fallen apart in the wake of her husband's cheating finds her life change again after a party. It's a high drama and the best part? There are 17 episodes that are all around 40 minutes to an hour long. That's some serious binge-watching for the weekend!

The Long Game

Another movie new to Netflix, The Long Game is a historical drama film based on a true story and set in the 1950s as the San Felipe Mustangs seek to compete in a golf championship. The movie features a number of recognizable faces, including Dennis Quaid, Jay Hernandez, Cheech Marin, and 9-1-1: Lone Star star Julian Works. Watch the inspirational tale this weekend before it hits the top 10.
