Another summer weekend is upon us, and this particular weekend contains the Father's Day holiday. Now, that can mean a number of different things for each individual person. But one thing that's probably true of everyone this weekend is that you want to know what to watch on Netflix. Thankfully, the streamer dropped a few big new releases worth checking out.

Obviously, the week's biggest Netflix new release is none other than Bridgerton season 3 part 2, which brings the romantic drama's enormously popular third season to a close. The weekend also provides a pair of movies to watch with the whole family and a new reality competition series that dads might enjoy more than any other person in the household.

Here are some of this week's biggest new release titles to catch up on this weekend!

Polin season has officially come to an end! Bridgerton season 3 part 2 premiered on June 13 and delivered all of the answers we'd been waiting for since part 1 last month. The season brings Colin and Penelope's love story to its happily ever after, but it's hard fought given the Lady Whistledown scandal brewing beneath the surface. The season 3 finale has a lot to cover, so buckle up. Oh, and spoiler alert, but happy first father's day to both Anthony and Colin Bridgerton!

Forged in Fire season 9

The ninth season of the History Channel competition series Forged in Fire landed on Netflix on June 14, and there are 26 episodes to dive into this weekend. In the series, four bladesmiths compete in each episode to create bladed weapons and with the $10,000 prize. If you're interested in this kind of work, then this is the show for you! Of all the titles on this list, this might be the best one to watch with your dad if you can't get him to watch Bridgerton.

Ultraman: Rising

There are so many popular titles these days about stand-in fathers, such as The Mandalorian, The Last of Us, and Netflix's Sweet Tooth. On June 14, Netflix released the animated movie Ultraman: Rising, which tells the story of a baseball player who's also Ultraman and must return home to stop a monster attack. Suddenly, he finds himself raising one of the baby monsters. It's a cute and action-packed animated movie that the whole family can check out together this weekend.

Wonder

The 2017 family drama film Wonder has been one of the most popular movies on Netflix this week. Based on the book of the same name by R. J. Palacio, Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson star as the parents of Auggie (Jacob Tremblay), a young boy with Treacher Collins syndrome who struggles to fit in at school. It's both heartwarming and heartbreaking and will definitely make you tear up!
