Top 15 Netflix movies to watch with your girls this Galentine's Day

Valentine's Day? So overrated. I'm all about the Galentine's Day this year. If you've got your girlies round for a pampered night in this year, you're definitely in need of some quality entertainment to set the mood for your evening.

That's where we come in! Below, we have listed the Top 15 Movies on Netflix you and your girls can watch this February 14th.

Bride Wars (2009)

Starting our list strong with an absolute legend of a movie, Bride Wars is the perfect example of what a Galentine's Movie should look like. This movie explores the trials and tribulations two best friends go through when they discover they are both engaged to be married at the same time. It is a fan favourite and you will love it.

Pretty Woman (1990)

The second item on our list is an absolute classic. Pretty Woman follows the story of Edward and Vivian, two individuals living in VERY different worlds. This heartwarming movie explores how they put aside their different backgrounds so that they may be together and it's definitely a movie to watch with the girls!

To All The Boys I've Loved Before (2018)

Up next on our list is quite a modern option. This beautiful movie explores how two high school students create a fake relationship together but, spoiler, end up actually falling in love with each other. The good thing about To All The Boys I've Loved Before is it has a whole series, so you and the girls could totally watch all three movies (and don't forget XO Kitty, the spinoff series!).

Little Women (2019)

Don't even get us started on Little Women. We could talk about this gorgeous movie for HOURS, no lie. If you and the girls fancy a period drama this Valentine's, then look no further than the beautiful story of Little Women. Adapted from a novel of the same title by the brilliant Louisa May Alcott, this movie follows the lives of Jo March and her 3 sisters. It explores themes of love, loss, empowerment and dreams. This has got to be one of our personal favourite picks from this list!

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018)

This one is an absolute no-brainer. Who doesn't love Mamma Mia! (the correct answer is no one). Well, now you and your girlies can watch the sequel from the comfort of your own sofa this Galentine's Day! This is certainly our most musical option on this list, so if that's your vibe this could be the perfect suitor for you.

The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

Listen, who wouldn't want to go from zero to Meryl Streep's assistant? This is such an iconic movie and it has got to be a girl's night staple. Having said this, The Devil Wears Prada is another worthy candidate for your Galentine's Day go-to! Pair this movie with your most glam outfits and you've got the perfect night!

20th Century Girl (2022)

Don't worry K-Drama fans, we've got you covered too. Before My Demon, Kim Yoo-jung portrayed Na Bo-ra, a young girl who finds herself stuck with having to choose between love or friendship. So, order in your takeout and get comfy because this is guaranteed to be one of your new favourite K-Dramas!

Hitch (2005)

Imagine being an expert in your field of work only to find out everything you thought you knew is false. This is a challenge Alex Hitchens (Will Smith) faces in this classic Romantic Comedy. Hitch is a brilliant lighthearted watch and it will definitely have you and your girls laughing by the end of the night!

Blended (2014)

Name a more iconic duo than Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Go on, we'll wait. Blended is arguably one of their best movies they've worked on together. When their characters are forced to spend a holiday trip together, they naturally begin to become closer and eventually fall in love. This heartwarming comedy is definitely one of our personal biases on this list!

Groundhog Day (1993)

Listen, we know Groundhog Day has already been and gone this year - but the movie is still a total classic and we think you should still consider it for your Galentine's Day viewing. This romcom follows Phil (Bill Murray), an arrogant newsreporter. He becomes stuck living the same day over and over again (you guessed it, the day is Groundhog Day). Can he realise the errors of his way and break the never ending cycle? You'll have to watch it to see!

Pitch Perfect (2012)

We know this isn't the most romantic option on this list, but not everyone needs romance on Galentine's Day! The Pitch Perfect franchise is definitely one of the best out there for all the girls. Laughs are constant throughout these movies and so, what better way to spend Galentine's Day than watching this comedic legend of a movie!

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022)

Okay, hear us out. Yes, this option stands out a little bit from all the others on the list, but ladies, come on. A crime mystery night in? Yes please! Glass Onion is the second instalment of the Knives Out franchise. You and your girls could totally place bets on 'whodunnit' whilst you watch this brilliantly exciting mystery unfold (whoever wins gets that last glass of wine).

Do Revenge (2022)

This was arguably one of the best movies that came out of 2022. When two teenage girls from two very different lives join together to help each other get revenge, chaos is unleashed. Naturally, we love a bit of chaos. Who doesn't?! Do Revenge is yet another iconic girl's night in movie, so we highly recommend it for this Galentine's Day!

Failure to Launch (2006)

We all went through a Matthew McConaughey phase, don't lie. You can totally relive this phase with Failure to Launch. The concept of the movie is your classic 'love found in an unexpected place' trope, as Paula (Sarah Jessica Parker) tries to help Tripp (Matthew McConaughey) move out of his parents' home. Another romcom for you and the girls to enjoy!

Marry Me (2022)

Our last but most certainly not least option on this list is Marry Me. Kat Valdez (Jessica Lopez) discovers that her fiancé has been disloyal. So, in an ultimate revenge move, she marries an audience member at one of her concerts, Charlie (Owen Wilson). You and your girls will undoubtedly have an amazing time watching as this story continues to unfold!
