Is The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare on Netflix? (Where to stream after theaters)
Guy Ritchie movies are usually those you’ll love or hate. Sometimes, it all depends on the cast. With The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, you’re sure to love it. Now you just need to know where to stream it.
Henry Cavill stars in this movie that is strangely based on true events. Yes, you read that right. When you watch the movie, you’re sure to be amazed by the fact that there is a true story.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare certainly has a look of Inglorious Basterds to it. It takes place during World War II and follows a secret group put together in the hope of taking out the Nazis. It’s based on Damien Lewis’s book Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII.
This is not a movie you’ll want to miss. You just need to know where it’s going to stream.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare won’t come to Netflix at first
We do have to start this with some bad news. This is not a movie that will head to Netflix. At least, not right after being in theaters. As you know, big production companies and studios have deals with specific streamers.
This is a Lionsgate movie. Lionsgate has a deal with Starz.
Where to stream the Henry Cavill movie after theaters
Starz is the first streaming home for this movie. After that, it will go to the Roku Channel. This is a non-exclusive streaming license, so the movie is likely to remain on Starz.
It could head to another streaming platform in the future. We can’t rule out Netflix for good, but we can say that it will be a few years before it heads there at the very least.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare cast
This movie has a cast that you will need to watch, and some of the cast members you’ll recognize from Netflix shows and movies.
Henry Cavill is Gus March-Phillipps, the man called in to put together a team to go undercover. He is completely mad, and that’s exactly what the British Army needs at the time. Of course, that means he’ll put together crazy team.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin is one of those who joins the team. He plays Henry Hayes. The question is whether he’s going to be anything like his character in the After movies. Based on the trailer, we’re going to get to see a different side to his acting skills.
You’ll also get to see Reacher’s Alan Ritchson in the movie. He plays Anders Lassen, and the snippet from the trailer of him is epic.
The cast also includes:
Eiza González as Marjorie Stewart
Henry Golding as Freddy Alvares
Alex Pettyfer as Geoffrey Appleyard
Babs Olusanmokun as Mr. Heron
Til Schweiger as Heinrich Luhr
Henrique Zaga as Captain Binea
Cary Elwes as Brigadier Gunnins ‘M’
Danny Sapani as Kambili Kalu
Freddie Fox as Ian Fleming
