The wait to watch Suits season 9 on Netflix is almost over!

According to Netflix, Suits season 9 will be released on the streamer on July 1, 2024. We're officially less than one month away from the release of the final season of the hit series on Netflix. The ninth season consists of 10 episodes.

Netflix confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, June 2.

It's been one year since Suits was added to Netflix. It was a decent TV hit for USA when it premiered in 2011 and ran for nine seasons on the network through 2019. I don't know if anyone could have predicted just how popular this show became on Netflix when it was added to the streamer in June 2023. Since then, it's been one of Netflix's most popular shows and biggest licensed shows of all time. Yeah, it's been even bigger than The Office, and I don't know how I feel about that. Actually, I do know how I feel about it, and I hate it, but yay, Suits!

Unfortunately, Netflix only added the first eight seasons. Likely existing rights agreements were the reason that Netflix didn't add season 9, the final season of the TV series. Fans who binge-watched the first eight seasons of Suits on Netflix were forced to head over to Peacock and/or Amazon Prime Video (yuck!) to watch the final 10 episodes of the series. Well, none of that matters now! You can watch all nine seasons of Suits on Netflix very soon.

Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams star in Suits, along with Rick Hoffman, Katherine Heigl, Sarah Rafferty, Meghan Markle, Amanda Schull, Gina Torres, Dulé Hill, and more. Aaron Korsh created the series.

Because of the huge surge in popularity, there's a Suits spinoff, Suits: LA, already in the works for Peacock. It won't be on Netflix, but we know that fans will be interested in watching the new series led by Stephen Amell, Victoria Justice, Rachelle Golding, Troy Winbush, and more.

Stay tuned for more information about the new series.
