Stop what you're doing and watch these 3 anime shows on Netflix in January 2024

It's a brand new year and we're looking forward to watching all the Netflix new releases. More specifically, we can't wait to watch all the upcoming anime shows confirmed for release in 2024.

The streamer hasn't announced the official release dates for every anime coming this year just yet, but we know what to expect in January. Here are three anime shows coming to Netflix in January 2024 that you should definitely check out. We even threw in one Netflix anime film that we recommend you add to your watchlist as well.

One Piece: Marineford

One Piece is one of the longest-running anime series and a new season was recently released on Netflix. On Jan. 1, the Marineford arc dropped on the streaming platform which Netflix labeled as the twentieth season.

This arc focuses on the war between the Marines and Whitebeard's pirates. It also focuses on Luffy as he tries to save his brother Ace whose set to be executed at Marine Headquarters.

After watching this season, we recommend checking out all of the other One Piece content on Netflix, especially the One Piece live-action series. A second season of the live-action series is currently in the works.

Delicious in Dungeon

Delicious in Dungeon is a new anime series coming to Netflix this year. It is set to premiere on the streaming platform on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, but it's unclear if the full season will drop on this date. New episodes could be released weekly. We'll let you know if this is the case once we find out.

It's an anime adaptation of the Japanese manga series of the same name by Ryōko Kui. Additionally, Kentaro Kumagai (Laios), Sayaka Sembongi (Marcille), Asuna Tomari (Chilchuck), Hiroshi Naka (Senshi), Saori Hayami (Falin), Akira Miki (Namari), and Shinji Kawada (Shuro) are in the voice cast.

"In the depths of the dungeon, the younger sister of adventurer Laios was eaten by a Red Dragon ― and he barely made it back to the surface with his life.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse: Part 1

Get ready because a new The Seven Deadly Sins anime is coming to Netflix soon! It's titled Four Knights of the Apocalypse, and it will premiere on the streaming platform on Jan. 31, 2024.

The show takes place years after the events of The Seven Deadly Sins. In addition, it's set in the same world but in a different region.

"A kind young boy named Percival lives with his grandfather in a remote area called "the Finger of God" — but the world would not allow this peace to last. An encounter with a mysterious knight changes Percival's destiny and reveals a startling secret, causing him to set out on an endless journey. "

Netflix anime movie coming to Netflix in January 2024

Maboroshi

Maboroshi is the only anime film confirmed to be coming to Netflix in January. The exact release date is Jan. 15, 2024. Additionally, the movie was produced by MAPPA and written and directed by Mari Okada.

When an explosion at a steel factory puts a small town in a timeless freeze, 14-year-old teen boy Masamune and the rest of the townspeople find themselves living a nightmare. But once Masamune encounters a mysterious girl who cannot speak and acts like a wild wolf, he soon finds his fate altered.
