Stolen, otherwise known as Stöld in Swedish, is a Swedish Netflix original movie that premiered on the streaming platform on April 12, 2024. It's a film adaptation of the 2021 bestselling book of the same name by award-winning author Ann-Helén Laestadius, who is also signed on as an executive producer of the movie. In addition, Elle Márjá Eira helmed the film in her feature directorial debut, while Peter Birro wrote the screenplay.

Inspired by real events, Stolen follows a young Indigenous woman named Elsa who takes matters into her own hands and puts her own life at risk to track down one of the non-Indigenous poachers who have been killing her community’s reindeer herd for the last two decades.

Musical artist Elin Kristina Oskal stars in the leading role of Elsa Eldre, a young woman from Sweden's indigenous Sámi community who is fighting against discrimination. This is actually Oskal’s acting debut in a feature film. She's best known for her pop music, with one of her most recent songs being "Lusa."

Swedish television and movie actor Martin Wallström plays the role of Robert Isaksson, a non-Indigenous poacher who has been hunting down Sweden’s Sámi community's reindeer herd. He's best known internationally for his role as Tyrell Wellick in the psychological thriller series Mr. Robot. Some of his other acting work include roles in the TV shows Den sista sommaren, Headhunters, Beck and As Long As We Live.
