Remember Brady and Brie's sexy dance in Virgin River? Here's how it happened

Is it hot in here or is it just Brady and Brie?! Recently, Benjamin Hollingsworth offered a bit of a tease for Virgin River season 6, saying that the upcoming season "turned up the heat" on the show's core romances. Naturally, that has fans wondering if there will be heat between Brady and Brie again. As much as we love Mike, it's what everyone wants, to see them back together.

Of course, the heat had already been turned up on Brady and Brie in the past. Their seemingly brief love affair was passionate and full of love and the best chemistry. As Jack's frenemy and sister, their relationship was already complicated, but it became even more complicated as other outside forces started messing with what could have been (and could still be) endgame.

But that chemistry and passion was always there from the start. Back in Virgin River season 3, Brady and Brie star in a fan-favorite scene featuring a very sexy dance in the early days of their budding romance. A lot has happened for the couple since then, but Hollingsworth recently shared the behind-the-scenes making of the moment for fans, and it's just as electric!

As cameras continue rolling on Virgin River season 6, Hollingsworth went back into the archives to give fans a look at how he and Zibby Allen crafted the moment that has never left fans' minds. In a video posted on Instagram, the completed scene from season 3 plays alongside the actors' rehearsal footage set the song "Human" by Rag'n'Bone Man.

The video shows Hollingsworth and Allen both wearing masks as a safety precaution as they rehearse the dance, as the scene was filmed in June 2020 during the early days of the pandemic. It's rare to see this kind of behind the scenes footage from a series, especially as two actors build the chemistry for a couple that becomes so central to the story.

Understandably, the comments are full of fans reacting to the video and the fire between Brady and Brie even while a scene is being choreographed and practiced, likely with an intimacy coordinator. The cast and crew of Virgin River hopped into the comments, with Colin Lawrence, who plays Preacher, saying, "That right there... is spicier than my duck tacos." He added four fire emojis for good measure.

Even Robyn Carr, the author of Virgin River book series, chimed in with "Sexy hot!" Hollingsworth's wife, Nila Hollingsworth, poked fun with her own comment: "Long day at the office." She included an emoji that's winking and sticking out its tongue. Everyone's a fan of Brady and Brie!

Going into season 6, the couple still isn't together after all the drug drama caused Brie to no longer trust Brady. She moved on with Mike, and Brady moved on with Lark. But in the season 5 holiday episodes, the sparks were still very apparent between them. We'll have to wait and see what's next for both couples and if Brady and Brie have a chance at getting back together.
