Olivia Rodrigo spills her GUTS World Tour concert special on Netflix (when to watch)

Seeing Olivia Rodrigo on tour is a good idea, right? Well, if you missed out on seeing the Grammy Award winner's GUTS World Tour in person, or just want to relive the magical experience of shouting your favorite songs in an arena, you will soon be able to watch the full concert from the comfort of your own home thanks to Netflix.

On Oct. 2, Rodrigo surprised fans by adding "one more show" to her expansive GUTS World Tour, but that show turned out to be the Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour concert special premiering Oct. 29 on Netflix. The new concert film was directed by James Merryman and filmed in Los Angeles at the Intuit Dome, where Rodrigo played two sold-out shows in August.

Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour coming to Netflix!

Rodrigo began the GUTS World Tour trek in February 2024 in support of her second studio album GUTS. The tour has spanned nearly 100 shows across the world and comes to an end on Oct. 22 after an eight-show sprint in Australia. The tour featured opening acts such as Remi Wolf, Benee, PinkPantheress, The Breeders, and Chappell Roan.

The singer-songwriter previously released the documentary performance special Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U on Disney+ in March 2022 to cap off the unprecedented run of her debut album SOUR. However, her new film with Netflix will be the rising pop-rock titan's debut concert special, and it's definitely going to be as successful as her chart-topping albums and songs.

Along with the announcement of the special, Rodrigo shared a special message for fans with Netflix's Tudum:

"I am so excited to share the GUTS World Tour with my fans. For those of you who didn’t get a chance to rock out in-person, now you can have the best seats in the house! And to the fans who cheered, screamed, and danced with me, I am so glad we get to do it all over again!"

While it's currently unclear how long the film will last and if it will contain the full 22-song setlist, you can expect to watch Rodrigo perform all of her hits, including "Drivers License," "Deja Vu," "Good 4 U," "Vampire," "Bad Idea, Right?," "Get Him Back!," "Obsessed," and more.

Both of Rodrigo's albums have been nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards. Even though Rodrigo didn't win any hardware for GUTS, she won three Grammys for SOUR in 2022, including Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Drivers License."

For Rodrigo's fans, the Netflix concert special will both be a victory lap and celebration of the GUTS era while also being bittersweet since it surely marks the end of the album's cycle. But as all pop music fans know, the end of one era brings the beginning of another. Well, at least eventually! We can't wait to see what Rodrigo does next, but first, we get to spill our guts one last time.
