Netflix royalty Chase Stokes and Lana Condor join forces for military drama film Valiant One

Outer Banks star Chase Stokes and To All the Boys' Lana Condor will be starring in a new movie together called Valiant One. We shared everything there is to know about the upcoming film below.

First, we must start off by saying that this film will not be on Netflix when it comes out. Yes, it stars two Netflix stars, but that's the only Netflix connection to this movie. There's a possibility that Netflix could acquire streaming rights to this film in the future, but that's not the case at the moment. Don't worry. We'll let you know if this ever happens.

Valiant One is described as a military action thriller. Movie producer Steve Barnett makes his feature directorial debut with this film from a screenplay written by Eric Tipton. In addition, Tipton wrote the script from an original idea by Barnett.

Sadly, we won't be seeing this movie in 2024 like we had hoped. Instead, it will be released at the top of next year. It has a set release for theaters nationwide on Jan. 24, 2025. Be sure to save the date!

When a U.S. army helicopter crashes in North Korean territory, the team of surviving non-combat tech specialists must band together to protect a civilian tech specialist and find a way across the hostile terrain to safety without the assistance of the U.S. military.

Stokes plays the role of Captain Edward Brockman, who leads the surviving U.S. Army non-combat tech soldiers back to friendly territory. Condor stars as Selby, a tough yet inexperienced Medic Specialist. Joining them in the cast are Desmin Borges (Josh Weaver), Callan Mulvey (Chris Lebold), Daniel Jun (Wilson Lee), Jonathan Whitesell (Jonah Ross), Diana Tsoy (Binna), Ronald Patrick Thompson (Milner), and Stephen Adekolu (Cooper).

Since the release date is still pretty far off, we most likely won't see the official trailer anytime soon. If anything, it'll probably drop sometime at the end of 2024. Also, it's unknown if this film will ever come to streaming, but it'll probably have a digital release eventually. Of course, you can count on us to come back and let you know if this does happen.
